About Me

Julia has always loved dogs! Growing up, she knew that she wanted her career to involve animals, specifically dogs. She started her career working at a dog daycare and boarding facility, she then worked as a vet assistant, and she is now living her dream as a professional dog trainer.

She attended Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers. While there, she earned the titles of Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Certified Canine Behavior Specialist. Since then, she has attended many dog training seminars, workshops, and conferences to continue her education. She is dedicated to keeping up with new studies and methods to help dogs have a safe, effective, and positive experience with training.

Julia is a balanced trainer, meaning she uses food, toys, play, and other tools (slip leads, prong collars, e-collars, harnesses) to help build relationships and communicate effectively with dogs.

She currently has three dogs of her own: Jo, an American Pit Bull Terrier; Kid, a Catahoula Leopard Dog; and Clementine, a German Shepherd Dog.
